Artificial Creativity

These works share a premise: natural language is a lossy medium for conveying user intent to AI. UI and shader components are the focus of these prototypes because they contain nuances that are hard to describe unless one knows the specific requirements — both technical and ‘vibes-based’ — and is able to represent that fully without back-and-forth with the AI.

About these works:

• Generative Remix sidesteps articulation entirely — I chose a WebGL Shader Component to personalize, and created a system that extracts the parameters, and provides toggles to customize the artifact to my preferences.
• Intent Configuration Interface catches language mid-translation, materializing what the model heard as an editable intermediate artifact.

Together they propose a different model for human-AI co-creation: one where interpretation is visible, correctable, and portable.
